Welcome to the Parish of East Donyland: The Old Church of East Donyland was taken down in 1838 when the new Church of St Lawrence was built in the river side community of Rowhedge by William Mason of Ipswich to imitate the Chapter House at York Minster and is a fine liturgical setting.

Now part of the Donyland Parishes comprising of St Andrew Fingringhoe with St Lawrence East Donyland or Rowhedge and St Andrew Abberton with Langenhoe in the Church of England Diocese of Chelmsford

 

Set in the heart of a vibrant community we welcome people of all ages, all church backgrounds or none, and especially those thinking about the Christian faith for the first time for prayer and quiet reflection and good liturgy.

Prayer for healing and Healing service is held 2nd Wednesday of every month at St Lawrence church following our 10am weekly Eucharist which is very much part of our tradition.
